Fitball – Postnatal Exercise Class
Fun and friendly class for new moms from 6 weeks after delivery onwards (10 weeks in case of c-section). The post-natal class will ease your way back into exercise after giving birth to your baby.
With the help of a stability ball you will stretch, strengthen and tone your body. The class will focus on strengthening the pelvic floor, the abdominal area and the back. You will always have the opportunity to go gently or to challenge yourself depending on how you are feeling.
It is also a great postnatal exercise program for women with a raised BMI or for women that have gained excess weight through pregnancy.

When can you start exercise after birth?
It is generally advisable to wait for your six-week postnatal check-up before you start to exercise again. If you had a caesarean birth you will probably have to wait a little longer (perhaps eight to ten weeks) for your body to recover before you start doing exercise.

About the teacher
The course is taught by Irina Mircheva.
Irina is a Group fitness and Aerobics instructor with more than seven years’ experience. She received her training with teachers from International Fitness School Moscow and has been certified from them in Pilates, Body training and Aerobics.
